Massage affects all of the bodies organs, nerves and glands whilst improving circulation.

Swedish Massage removes unwanted physical and mental stress from the body and so is recommened to maintain the bodys well-being. Swedish massage is also beneficial as a regular massage treatment to keep muscles supple.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO HAVE A MASSAGE?

It is generally recommended that a massage once a month will keep the body in balance and maintain well being. However if there is a lot of tension build up in the muscles then a course of regular massage may be recommended. Once the problem is resolved then a massage once a month will be recommended.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE A MASSAGE?

You do not have to do a lot before a massage treatment, just ensure you have not eaten a heavy meal as you will be lying down for the duration of the massage treatment and this could be uncomfortable.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AFTER A MASSAGE?

After a massage treatment you will be relaxed so try to ensure you have a bit of time to relax and gain all the benefits from the massage. It is not recommended that a heavy meal is eaten straight after a massage. Vigorous exercise should also be avoided. Some massage oils are photosensitive so sun exposure should be avoided whilst oils are still on the skin to avoided the skin burning.
